August 7, 2009 - Flagstaff, AZ

Country music singer Steve Azar played a barroom concert at the historic Museum Club on Route 66.
Azar had a big hit with "I Don't Have To Be Me 'Til Monday." Azar autographed our CD of "Waitin' On Joe" which included his hit single.
The Museum Club once hosted the leading artists in country music including Willie Nelson. On the barroom wall is a framed copy of a contract for a Willie performance that paid him $500 to play the room, I believe in the 1960s. An iconic stop on this Arizona stretch of Route 66, the bar has struggled to remain open with a revolving door of ownership. When open, it's a must stop for a longneck bottle.
