May 1, 2015 - Glendale, AZ

Tribute act Beatlemania played hits of the Fab Four in an outdoor concert at the Big Red Rib and Music Festival on the Great Lawn outside University of Phoenix Stadium.
This festival was hosted by the Arizona Cardinals and held in conjunction with the NFL Draft. Top BBQ trucks and joints from around the country fed the masses and competed for prizes.
There are likely hundreds of Beatles cover bands around, but Beatlemania is one of the better ones. On this night, the band opened the show in mop top haircuts, skinny ties and tight suits. After early Beatles songs, they changed the wardrobe to Sgt. Pepper and Lonely Hearts Club band regalia. The show ended with another costume change to hippie era and psychedelia.
We saw Beatlemania again a few years later, playing on the rooftop of a Scottsdale casino recalling the famous Let It Be session on top of Apple recording studio. This was a publicity stunt for a guitar art auction for charity.
