Shelley Berman brought his comedy act to Gammage Center at Arizona State University.
Berman's comedy career started in the fifties and continued for more than 50 years. He won the first-ever Grammy for spoken comedy and was active on TV and the nightclub circuit. His most recent recognizable role was as Larry David's father on "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
Gammage is a large theatre for a stand-up comedy act. This ticket was for a seat in the tenth row, but I don't remember much about the show or the crowd.
